2.Strictly necessary storage
These are the ones that make the site work: staying signed in, keeping your session secure, and blocking automated abuse. Under PECR they do not require consent, because without them the service you asked for cannot be delivered. They cannot be switched off while you use an account.
3.Analytics
We measure which pages get read and where people abandon a flow, so we can fix the parts that do not work. It is deliberately coarse: an anonymous identifier and page events, with no personal data in the payload.
You can refuse it. Browser-level “Do Not Track” and “Global Privacy Control” signals are honoured, and any browser or extension that blocks analytics will not affect your use of the site — nothing here depends on being measured.
4.How to control cookies
Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and site storage in its settings — usually under Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary storage will sign you out and stop the creator app working; blocking analytics changes nothing you can see.
